They hold a monthly drop-in at the Strand Centre on the 2nd Wednesday every month 10am to 12noon.

Newton Abbot Community Aid is pleased to be able to offer support for individuals and families in Newton Abbot, Teignmouth & Dawlish (and in between) who are struggling with the energy crisis.
They are able to supply items such as slow cookers, energy saving light bulbs, blankets and electric blankets. They are also able to cater for more tailored need depending on the service users requirements. They are not able to fund ongoing energy costs. Newton Abbot Mutual Aid will be working with others who can advise on energy usage and may be able to supply items they suggest.
How it works! You can simply write giving details of what is needed and the number of clients the items are for using this form. Newton Abbot Mutual Aid will assess the cost against available funds and to ensure they are fairly allocating our resources. Assuming they are able to, items required will be purchased and either delivered to you as an organisation or to the individual client if you have given us all relevant information. All client information will of course be kept confidential.
Please note resources are limited so requests for smaller items are more likely to be accepted.
